Global Health Study Abroad Field Photo - Experience in India
Being in India was a real eye-opener to the different cultures and diversity. We are always caught up in our own biases about the Eastern world, but my experience in India has changed my perspective on what is out there. It was important to learn during my time there that it is not because it is not the standard here; it means it is wrong. India taught me how to humble myself and appreciate the small things. India taught me how preserving culture is essential and how living with a regular yoga practice can bring so many benefits to oneself. I can’t wait to be back in India.
